This homeowner in La Jolla ca lives on the third floor and the ocean view from thier window is awesome, however the direct sunlight from facing west made the attached living area often too bright and too hot. The goal was to have an awning that could extend out when needed but be retracted when preferred. The larteral arm awning installed by Sun Boss met all the criteria and more. The awning has a switch inside that allows the howewner to put the awning out in the rain as well to protect thier entry in the rain. The materials are all powdercaoted aluminum and carry a limited lifetime warranty. The fabric is SunBrella and carries one of the best warranties in the market.
