Project Description
Many homeowners in Temecula have started to go green not only to conserve energy but also to preserve the beautiful climate of Southern California.
This client had built an outdoor entertaining area that allowed for a nice barbeque and picnic area with a roof that held his solar panels. In going green, the design allowed him to add enough solar power to minimize his electric bill and build a nice covered outdoor patio away from his home in Temecula. However, the wind was typically too strong most evenings and the client needed thought he needed a windbreak that would keep the area protected yet would not affect his view. Upon calling Sun Boss, Erik Schmitt came up with a design using the 230 Curved Wind Break Eaved Unit that blended perfectly with the freestanding structure. Sun Boss enclosed the two sides where the prevailing wind come from, leaving the patio wide open to the fresh air and warm sunshine yet protected from the wind and the rain.
