This homeowner in La Quinta, Ca. had a beautiful covered patio that was designed and built with the original house. The patio was wonderful except for the fact that it is always either too cold, too hot or just too windy. The covered patio soon became the cluttered patio. The homeowner was challenged when they went to hiring a company to enclose it, because conventional contractors wanted to enclose the whole area which would not meet local building codes and local patio companies they called could not get approved with the homeowners association. Luckily, the homeowner found Sun Boss and hired Sun Boss to do the drawings and obtain approvals from the H.O.A.
The Four Seasons Sunrooms 230 wall system was a perfect fit for maximizing air and light ventilation as well as offering the homeowner a high performance glass that would allow the new space to be used year round. The cluttered patio is now one of the most used rooms in the house, truly offering the feeling of being outdoors yet totally protected from the elements.
